Nylon 66

Polyhexamethylene diamine is commonly known as nylon-66. It's a thermoplastic resin. White solid. The density of 1.14. Melting point is 253 ℃. Insoluble in general solvents, only soluble in resorcinol, etc. Polyamide fiber (aliphatic group) of the main varieties are nylon 66. It has high strength, good resilience, the highest wear resistance in textile fibers, multi-deformation resistance and fatigue resistance close to polyester, higher than other fibers.
